XENOPI.COM Mobile
Mar 22nd, 2010 | By Eric | Category: General NewsOne of our visitors reported that the XENOPI.COM website was taking a long time to load on his mobile phone browser. We’ve tested the XENOPI.COM website on a number of mobile devices, and found load times to be respectable, but in an effort to improve the experience for our visitors, we’ve added a “mobile” theme option to the site to speed loading for those visitors who are on mobile browsers.
XENOPI.COM Mobile
The mobile version of XENOPI.COM uses the “Carrington” theme which is a very simple theme that eliminates all front page images, but maintains them in pages and posts. We might add an iPhone specific theme for a more “integrated” look for iPhone visitors, but that’s not set in stone.
Please let us know what you think and if you encounter any problems with the site. We’re always looking for ways to improve the site, so please don’t hesitate if you have a suggestion or comment.

MUCH better. Six second load time vs two minutes. makes it quite usable now, though probably won’t matter after I upgrade this old phone. Thanks though.

I’m testing out an alternative plug-in that makes the mobile version more of an “iphone-like” experience.. Let me know how that works..
